  • What is the maximum guest count allowed per event?
    Our event capacity is 200 guests. If you want to host a group larger than 200 guests, we will need to get a daily permit from the town.
  • Can we choose our own vendors?
    Yes! Our blank canvas venue offers you the flexibility to choose your own vendors. We require a Certificate of Insurance for all vendors.
  • How many people can you accommodate overnight on site?
    Our property can accommodate up to 18 guests overnight.
  • Are we allowed to host the rehearsal dinner and brunch on site?
    Yes! Our exclusive weekend package allows you to host all of your weekend festivities on site without the stress of coordinating several venues for you and your guests.
  • Is there space for the wedding party to get ready?
    Yes! We have several comfortable and private spaces for the entire wedding party to prepare for the wedding reception. The honeymoon suite includes a salon bar with mirrors and enhanced lighting. The Robert Frost Lounge offers a wet bar, high top game table, and more. Also, each individual guest room includes make-up mirrors and blow dryers in their private bathrooms.
  • Do you have a dance floor?
    Yes! All of our event spaces were designed with a dance floor. The indoor space has hardwood flooring and the outdoor concrete patios are perfect for dancing in the moonlight!
  • Are you open year round?
    Yes! We’ve invested in several indoor and outdoor spaces so that you customize your dream wedding during any of New England's beautiful seasons.
  • Is your property handicap accessible?
    Yes! The inn and grounds adhere to federal ADA code, and we went above and beyond the federal code in order to accommodate all handicapped guests by making event spaces, lounges, decks, walkways, and guest rooms handicap accessible. The inn offers a handicap lift to upstairs guest rooms.
  • Do you welcome couples of all races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, genders, ages, and religious or spiritual preferences?
    Yes! We genuinely welcome all couples, their families, and guests to celebrate love at our homestead.
  • Is there a kitchen on site for food prep?
    Yes! We have a licensed commercial kitchen equipped with a commercial refrigerator, commercial freezer, a new 8 burner range with over 30K BTUs per burner, and counters for catering prep. Our Nutfield Room offers a gourmet kitchen for interactive chef experiences. Our event hall also includes a fully equipped bar.
  • Do you provide a tent?
    Yes! We own and provide a beautiful Tidewater sailcloth tent on our custom patio that accommodates up to 200 guests. Bistro lights create an elegant ambience and metal cables allow you to decorate the tent with florals, chandeliers, and other decor. The patio is powered electrically and has a municipal water spigot.
  • Does the inn have heating and air-conditioning?
    Yes! The entire inn is equipped with high-efficiency heating and air-conditioning. Each guest room has its own HVAC system and temperature control for guests to feel comfortable and stress-fee from any cross-contamination of germs.
  • How late can our event go?
    All outdoor music shall end by midnight and guests not staying on the property shall leave by midnight. Guests staying on the property can use the property amenities as late as they want.
  • Are you pet friendly?
    Yes! We allow couples to include their pets in their ceremony with our approval.
  • Do you have onsite parking?
    Yes, plenty! We have on-site paved parking for up to 200 guests. We can also recommend and facilitate additional transportation for any guests who aren't staying overnight or prefer not to drive.
  • Where are you located?
    We’re fortunately located in the heart of New England. We're only 40 minutes north of Boston in Southern New Hampshire, one of the fastest growing regions in the United States. Within a 60 minute drive you can experience the city of Boston, the NH and Maine beaches, the NH Lakes & Mountain Regions, endless parks and recreation, and more! For guests who live outside of New England, we're located only 15 minutes from Manchester-Boston Regional Airport and 50 minutes to Boston Logan International Airport.
  • Do you have any recommendations for local attractions?
    Yes! Upon booking of our venue, we'll provide a full guidebook to many of New England's desirable places and experiences.
  • Are tables and chairs provided?
    Yes! We provide standard twenty-five (25) 60" round top tables, fifteen (15) 8-foot x 40" rectangular banquet tables, cocktail tables, 200 white garden chairs, 200 fruitwood Chiavari chairs, wine and whiskey barrels, 6-foot and 4-foot rectangular tables, and more! If you prefer a different style, you may also rent tables and chairs through a local rental company whom we recommend.
  • Can we add extra days?
    Yes!
  • Where can I have my ceremony?
    Included in our all-inclusive package, you can choose to host your ceremony anywhere on the grounds with our written approval. You may also host a 1-hour ceremony rehearsal prior to your wedding day.
  • Where can our guests stay?
    For guests who aren't staying in the Inn, please see our list of local accommodations in our brochure.
  • Do you host venue tours?
    Yes, we provide tours year round and are flexible to accommodate your schedule! We don't have strict days/times for tours.
  • Are restroom trailers allowed?
    Yes, however they’re unnecessary because we offer 4 outdoor bathrooms and 2 indoor ADA bathrooms. Save your money!
  • When is check-in/check-out?
    For exclusive weekend rentals, check-in is at 10:00 am on arrival day and check-out is 2:00 pm on departure day.
  • Do you offer catering or bar services?
    Bartending services are included in our all-inclusive packages and we don't require a bar minimum nor gratuity and administrative fees. We do not offer catering services and can provide you a list of recommended caterers.
  • How do I reserve a date?
    We will share a contract with you to review and sign. Reservation is completed upon execution of the contract and receipt of a 50% deposit of the rental fee.
  • Is event insurance required?
    We require that all vendors provide Certificates of Insurance. Couples enrolling in insurance is optional.
  • What forms of payment do you accept for the site fee?
    We accept check, wire, credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay and other as forms of payment. We also offer a Buy Now Pay Later option through our third-party service provider.
  • Is there a meals and rental tax?
    Please note that an 8.5% meals and rental tax will be charged in addition to the rental fee and will be paid by the couple.
